He currently has the most extensive experience worldwide with this treatment modality.

Dr. Lederman joined the Radiation-Oncology Department at Cabrini Medical Center and founded Radiosurgery New York in 2004, putting together a highly experienced team of physicians, dosimetrists, physicists, technologists, data managers, and support staff. At Radiosurgery New York, Dr. Lederman offers innovative treatment for a variety of cancers with fractionated brain radiosurgery, fractionated body radiosurgery, and prostate brachytherapy.

Treatment Philosophy

Dr. Lederman has personally treated thousands of patients using fractionated stereotactic radiosurgery, including patients for whom re-treatment after radiation, chemotherapy, or surgery has failed to deliver desired results. Dr. Lederman’s goal with treatment is to gain local control of tumors whenever possible and try to minimize unnecessary radiation to healthy tissues.

At Radiosurgery New York, Dr. Lederman has created an atmosphere of advanced technology, experience, and compassion. He takes a multidisciplinary approach to evaluation and treatment, carefully analyzing the medical history, films, and reports of each patient with a panel of experts prior to recommending any course of treatment. Though radiosurgery is not for everyone, Dr. Lederman is committed to helping the patients for whom radiosurgery offers potentially lifesaving results.
